Endeas is launching a tool to establish a completely new product class for PV module laboratory equipment. The QuickSun 600Lab includes class A+A+A+ solar simulator and high-resolution EL inspection features in a single table-top system. The new equipment will transform module laboratories to a new productivity level by enabling users to measure the I-V curve and acquire an EL image together.

Endeas is delivering fully automated QuickSun all-in-one testing stations to a new PV module factory for the final quality inspection of heterojunction (HJT) modules. The new systems, providing annual testing capacity of up to 750MW, will be delivered in the third quarter of 2019 to a leading non-Chinese PV manufacturer. All systems are equipped with a class A+A+A+ solar simulator; automatic EL and optical inspection; and hipot, ground continuity and bypass diode tests.

Endeas presents an innovative method for measuring steady-state I-V curves in photovoltaic cells and modules using a flash tester. The novel method enables accurate measurement of the maximum power and other I-V parameters in even the highest efficiency PV technologies using a short flash pulse. The method is included in the acclaimed QuickSun 600 all-in-one module testing station and other current solar simulator models from Endeas.

The QuickSun 600 is the first product to include, in a single machine, class A+A+A+ solar simulator; electroluminescence and visual inspection; and insulation resistance, ground bond and bypass diode tests. Despite this impressive collection of tests, a single tool can process 150 modules per hour, allowing it to meet the ever-increasing throughput requirements of new production lines.
